Where We Work — Maple Grove and 50 Miles Around
Bottineau Boulevard is the spine of this business. Here's how we actually cover the north and west metro — and why the plumbing genuinely changes depending on where you are.
We run Bottineau Boulevard — Hennepin County Road 81 — most days. It threads Robbinsdale, Crystal, Brooklyn Park, Osseo, Maple Grove, Dayton and Rogers, and that corridor is the spine of the business. If you're on it, you're on our route rather than at the edge of it.
Hwy 610 is the other line we think in. North of it is mostly newer construction; south and east is older stock. It's a rough split, but it's accurate often enough that we can usually guess what's in your basement from your cross streets.
West and north of Corcoran you leave city water and sewer behind entirely. That's well-and-septic country, and it's a different service call from the first phone minute onward.
The plumbing is different depending on where you are

Newer construction — appliances fail, pipe doesn't
Maple Grove, Rogers, Otsego, and parts of Plymouth and Dayton
PEX supply and PVC drains throughout. The pipe in these houses is going to outlive most of us, so when something goes wrong it's equipment: water heaters scaled up by hard water, softeners past their resin life, sump pumps that ran too many cycles, and pressure-reducing valves letting street pressure through. We stock those parts because that's what these calls are.
1950s–80s stock — the pipe is the problem
Crystal, New Hope, Brooklyn Center, Robbinsdale, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids and Champlin
Cast-iron drain stacks corroding from the inside, aging copper, galvanized branch lines scaling shut, and sewer laterals old enough to be taking roots. In this era a 'clog' is often the pipe telling you something. We put a camera down before anybody digs a hole.
Pre-1950 — the oldest infrastructure we touch
Minneapolis, Osseo and Anoka
Clay tile sewer laterals under mature boulevard trees, galvanized supply, and venting done under codes that no longer exist. Osseo is the odd one out here: the oldest housing in our territory drinking the hardest water in our territory, because Osseo buys its water from Maple Grove.
Outside the pipes entirely — well and septic
Corcoran, Greenfield, Independence and rural Dayton
West and north of Corcoran you leave city water and sewer behind. Private wells, private septic, and well water that's usually harder than city water with iron riding along as a separate problem. Different equipment, different permitting authority, different truck load.
One thing most of this map has in common
Maple Grove city water runs 19–22 grains per gallon according to the City's own water quality report, and Osseo, Corcoran and part of Dayton drink the same water. It's the single biggest reason water heaters and fixtures don't last as long here as the box says they should.
