Permits

What's different about this work up here

If parts are available and the body is sound, a cartridge is the cheaper answer. On a well-worn builder-grade faucet, replacement often costs less than chasing parts.

Why does my toilet run at night?

Almost always the flapper. It hardens, stops sealing, the tank drains slowly, and the fill valve wakes up to top it off.

Do I need a permit to change a faucet?

Generally no for a faucet swap or a disposal. Fixture replacements and any piping change generally do need one.

Can you install a fixture I bought myself?
